VoiceMark

VoiceMark vs FeteFone

A digital alternative to FeteFone — no shipping, no batteries.

FeteFone is a vintage phone you BUY ($149+) rather than rent. The device is self-contained — no internet, no cell — and stores recordings to a USB stick. That's robust, but it's also a single device, with a 20-hour battery, that has to travel to the venue with you.

Why VoiceMark

Same idea. Different physics.

VoiceMark gives you the same self-contained reliability without the device. Recordings happen on each guest's phone, audio is cleaned automatically, transcripts come standard, and the host dashboard is just a URL — no USB stick to lose, no battery to charge.

Questions

Frequently asked.

FeteFone says no internet is needed at the venue — what about VoiceMark?
VoiceMark uploads over either Wi-Fi or cellular. Most venues have one of the two. If signal drops, the recorder queues the file in the browser and uploads when connection returns. Nothing is lost.
We'd rather buy hardware than rent — is VoiceMark just a service?
It's a one-time purchase, not a recurring service. From $79 you get the QR code, signage, dashboard, and lifetime access on Premium and Heirloom. No hardware to store, no pieces to lose between weddings.
Does FeteFone include audio cleanup?
On their site, audio engineering is listed as an add-on. VoiceMark runs an automatic cleanup pass on every recording — that's included on every tier.
What if we want both the phone aesthetic and the digital benefits?
Place a non-functional vintage phone next to the QR card. You get the visual cue without owning a $149+ device that lives in a closet between weddings.

Don't let the voices of the people you love fade away.
