VoiceMark

VoiceMark vs LifeOnRecord

A voice-first alternative to LifeOnRecord.

LifeOnRecord is a multi-channel digital service — guests can dial a phone number, email a clip, upload, or scan a QR. It's flexible, but the default mental model is dial-a-number, and pricing is a yearly $99 subscription rather than a one-time purchase.

Why VoiceMark

Same idea. Different physics.

VoiceMark is one method, one moment. Guests scan, record, submit. No country-code dance, no "is this a local call?" hesitation, no yearly renewal. One-time purchase from $79, no recurring billing.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Why pay one-time vs. yearly?
A wedding is a single event. You shouldn't be paying year after year for the right to keep last year's recordings. VoiceMark Premium and Heirloom give lifetime dashboard access in the one-time price.
Doesn't dialing a number work for older guests?
It does, but it adds a step every guest has to think about: which number, country code, am I being charged for this. QR removes that friction — point camera, tap link, record. Two taps total.
LifeOnRecord has cleanup and transcripts too — what's actually different?
Honestly, less than the gap with the hardware rentals. The structural deltas with LifeOnRecord are: pricing model (one-time vs yearly), default capture (QR vs phone), and the explicit guest-side warning when the room is too loud for cleanup to work — that warning is unique to VoiceMark's recorder.
Can we get a transcript of every message?
Yes. Both products generate one. VoiceMark's transcript is editable by the guest before submit, so they can correct mis-heard names without you having to chase them later.

Don't let the voices of the people you love fade away.
